Isn't it true that like 99.4% of all Miata owners are gay? I think it is.

Coincidentally, I think the battery problem has nothing to do with this issue. USUALLY, electrical issues do not cause drivability issues unless system voltage is low(does not happen with Mazdas), or your alternator is at full field. Your battery could cause your vehicle to stutter and drive worse, but your symptoms sound almost 90% tune-up or timing related issue. Since the batteries the cheapest route right now, I'd have it static checked. Meaning, checking the voltage of the battery without it connected to the vehicle's electrical harness. Go to a shop and have them perform a battery test to see if it's good. If it isn't the problem, I'd say it's time to have a technician diagnose the issue. May be a tune-up, adjust timing, skipped cam/crank on timing belt, fauly sensor, faulty actuator, etc.

Pumping the gasoline pedal on a gasoline injected motor vehicle does no longer some thing. You get an similar result by technique of purely stepping gently on the gasoline pedal and carry it open. i'd suspect low gasoline rigidity contained in the injector loop. you could cycle the foremost on and stale quite a few circumstances in about 4 2d periods. (pay interest for the gasoline pump the first time you cycle it. you should listen about a 2 2d burst on the gasoline pump). in case you listen the gasoline pump cycle because it ought to, then it is one plausible problem eliminated. it truly is purely too complicated to take you by potential of all possibilities. you may help the issue by technique of blending a small quantity of motor oil in each and each and every tank of gasoline (a million to 2 oz.). this may lubricate a probably weak pump and help seal the earrings (good ingredient). If all else fails, hunt down a useful mechanic.
