IContrary to wht others may think, it does work, it is a very VERY powerful tool, BUT it has got to be performed with the willing participation of the subject. The subject can, at any time refuse to take the commands issued under hypnosis. people cannot be forced to doing something that they do not want to do, but with the willing participation of the subject, you can massively alter their perception of reality.

I have studied hypnosis in great depth. It allows you to access the sub-conscious mind directly, and with the permission of the subject, alter how their subconscious mind will interpret their experience of reality.

Anyone who says it is hogwash and never works plainly has never researched it properly.

It's horse pucky, If you could control anyones mind through hypnosis you would be able to manipulate your way to being the king of the world. Yet no one has been able to do that.

Supposedly you would not do anything under hypnosis that you normally wouldn't do. So, you just make a little change to the words and you could get anything.

IE: Get a beautiful woman under and tell her that you are her lover. Then she would be yours.
If you say you can't do that then you have proven every hypnosis show to be a fake. All that have become a chicken, or thought that they were seeing their favorite actor etc..

It's all Horse Pucky

I don't really believe in this really. I think that you have to have a certain mind per se in order for it to be effective. Because you have to completely let go of your thoughts, I think that only a select number of people will actually find hypnosis effective. Also, I think that those who claim that they were hypnotised, may not have, but subconsciously they actually believe that they have so much that it changes their behaviour somehow. I've had experience with it- not with me actually being hypnotised but people I know. They found that if its like in a group setting for example, people may just play up to the idea.

Hypnosis is an unconscious state in which somebody can still see and hear and can be influenced to follow comments or answer questions. People use hypnosis as part of treatment and it helps them to give up smoking.

Yes, I've done it to quit smoking. It worked for about 6 months but I fell off the wagon during a night of too much drink. When I went back and did it again, it wasn't as effective and I eventually gave up using that method.

There's nothing sinister or supernatural about it. The hypnotist can't make you act like a chicken, that's Hollywood and cheap Vegas stunts. You're in complete control the whole time.

Never have done it and would be willing to try it under certain conditions. I never experienced it and I don't really think I could fall under its influence. I have a hard time falling comfortable around people as it is to actually be told to go under into sleep by a stranger....Maybe its a hoax, maybe it exists, maybe only certain people are capable of falling under its spell.....which is most likely the case.
