This is a bad one, My sister and I were both pregnant at the same time, Unfortunately my sis lost her pregnancy due to etopic pregnancy. She was crushed, I myself had a lot of trouble conceiving, So I was Exstatic when I found out, Well when this was all happening to my sister , she was an emaotional wreck and in a tearful episode, She said to me, " I feel like my baby died so that your's could live". I was so hurt that I left the room and could'nt talk to her for a while, I understood why she was upset, but I couldn't figure out why she would say that to me. We never talked about it again. I still think about it but I don't think she meant it to be hurtful but it was. I know she now looks at my son and thinks, That her baby would be 3 now.

I was 8.5 months pregnant, and you know what it's like, needing to pee and all that! Well, I was in a supermarket and asked if I could use the loo, the supermarket attandant said "If you can't even control your bladder while you're shopping, maybe you shouldn't leave the house. The toilets are for staff use only." Now I'm not one for swearing, but being hormonal etc.. I called her a few rather unattractive names!
Also, my midwife wighed me and said "You do realise you don't actually have to eat for two while you are pregnant! You must be eating for a whole army, you've put on 30 kilos - the average is about 10."
That hurt - but she was right! I still haven't lost all the weight 4 years on!

I had a little old lady yell at me and tell me I was a disgusting little slut. I asked her why she said that and she said I couldn't be more than 13. I was 25. But I am a small girl and look so young so she thought I was an unmarried teen. I cried so much...she was so evil!
When I told her I was a 25 year old woman she called me a liar...

I had to change towns when I was 7 months pregnant and I couldn't find a doctor who would take me in my new city........I called A LOT of offices!!! (It was a liability taking on a new patient so late in the pregnancy!!) And I talked to this one secretary at a Dr's office and she told me to try a free clinic because that would be my best chance!!! That whore........I completly broke down.....I have great insurance......but she was sooooooo mean and ignorant!!!! And to put off she had my same name!!!! But I choose to call her something else!!!

I'm not qualified to answer directly, of course, but my wife got generally fed up with all the people who felt that her tummy was public property and kept touching the bump.
You can have a laugh at the expense of friends who don't officially know you're pregnant who, early in pregnancy, ask "when is it due?", by replying "when is what due?" with a straight face.
"Oh...er...I'm sorry... I thought... um.... aren't you looking *well*..."

My older brother told me that since my baby was due to be born around Hallowe'en, that he would be a "Damien". I hated him for that, that implication that I would have an evil child. What a pig!
