Hi Roshni,

Being an indian I can understand your scenario.
It is very common that a lot of trouble is faced by the Indians regarding Sex as is is taboo to talk about it with anyone, not even with your lifepartner. But each and every person has their wants and needs which need to be satisfied. If u say that you are not getting physical pleasure from your husband, and that it is very important for you to have it, then you are taking a right decission about it.
But we havent been informed about your other part of the life with him.U are quite independent financially, and are looking for physical pleasure, but what about other things?
Think about all the aspects of life and then take a decision.

All the best...

From one married woman to another. I left my first husband because of abuse. But I learned a lot about marriage. Its hard hard as hell. I found a really great guy the second time who is like many other men and makes all the mistakes women cringe at. But I have also learned that many of my marriage problems were my fault and I was over reacting to many things. We all change over time but the goodness in us usually doesn't. That and marriage becomes monotonous when its the same ol same ol everyday.
You never mentioned the words love. why? It makes me sad. Try something spontaneous. Like a candle lit room and some cute nighties, or just really listening to how his day went over dinner. Reconnect. Surprise him with you. Afterward look back at how he reacted with this new show of love. Oh please try to find the good person that he is and fall in love all over again. Divorce is the second ugliest word to me. Hate is the first. If he is truly not interested then maybe yes it is time to find peace.

What if your husband had been wounded in a war? What if your husband or you or both of you are in a clinical depression and need to be seen by a doctor?

What did your marriage vows mean when you promised your lives to each other......for better or for worse?

There are other ways to be intimate and to demonstrate the love between a husband and a wife. Concentrate more on how you can be a loving wife to your husband, instead of how you can leave him and break your vows.

8 years without sex. Come on, open your eyes and do what is best for yourself. Live your life again. Your husband sure isn't thinking about you. You got what you need to live your new life with. If it feels like the right thing to do. Do It!!!!!

Delayed but right decision. There is no point in carrying a dead relationship & that too with such an impotent & irresponsible man.
Get out of it, find a man who is right for you & have a "live" life.
Wish you a happy divorce.

Leave him, I don't know why you have stayed with him for such a long time. Besides you are able to take care of your self.

By any chance any children with this man???????

Its better to consult your legal adviser He will tell you the current status of your marrage. Dont wast your time in probing from public and need not to act on their advise. may not exist at all.
