As far as the door to anytime the first answer most people would like to pick is the future but we all know that after serious thinking this is obviously the wrong answer. You would have a much better life for yourself and for the people you are around if you went into the past where your knowledge might be put to more practical use for others and yourself. Going into the future could be a nightmare....you would be totally alienated and it might be that you recognize nothing and that your intelligence and skills would be useless and unwanted.

I would use the door as a transportation device and travel to visit those it takes me a long time to get to via normal transport means. I would visit my sisters, my Mom, my best friend. I would pop in to visit whenever I felt the need. It would be so great.
