Apparently this is so common that there are many complaint websites about all the evil manipulative ways they shuffle people's banking activity. It's even in the dictionary!!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/bank_of_ame...

I recently fell victim to their scam of reversing credits than bouncing items that were already processed, complete and deducted from my balance, they even charged me 35$ on a 2.89 item and an atm transaction for $20 that proves what my balance was.

Instead they put through there fee before my completed transactions (they were completed (not pending) the day before they forced through the fee charge and bounced each legitmate transaction! I am so sick of talking to their reps that are looking to keep their ill gotten fees.

I am not depositing any more money with BA until they correct this and the fee that they shouldn't have charged me in the first place! Then I'm cutting them off for good. Oh to top it off they mess up peoples credit when you ask to close?!

DO NOT BANK with them!
They are P"URE EVIL and work to steal money form your account by manpulation of your transactions, holding deposits, zapping transactions from you your account than putting them back in days later when You thoughtthe transaction was already deducted from your balance, they acctually "lost" my deposit that It did in cash at the counter and had me running around to "find" it and once they admited the error they still took a month to put my money in my account (they put my money in someone elses account) they never formally apologized they wanted me to sympathize with them! Even though I was the one that couldn't use my own money and they would not credit my account instantly when they found the misdeposited funds. I spent hours on the phone with them, days sitting in the branch at lunch hour to try to get my money back, it wasn't stolen! BA lost it and without my little slip to prove it they said "you never made the deposit" what the Hello! I have the slip to prove it, it's not like I even did it at the atm I did it at the counter.

If you ever ask for them to credit you for a transaction that shouldn't be on your account they give you provisional credit and than ALWAYS reverse it and falsly deny peoples claims. The reversal gives them a new oppuritunity to force it before completed transactions whcih than "bounces" each and every little transaction you did that "comes in" after they dated the reversal. They love it 35.00 a pop.

In short save your self money frustration, anger and your health DO NOT BANK OF AMERICA!!!

Check on-line for the many many lawsuits and fraud claims with them they are even tied to Enron. Even Wikipedia desribes their banking practices tht maximize the possible of being overdrawn and fee'd to death

First, see if they will correct it. Speak to them, you are not responsible for charges or fees that are mistakes.

If your sure that in no way this mistake could be your fault. Contact a lawyer, you can join a lawsuit or create your own.

Be advised that deposits are only credited the same day if made before noon.

That is so totally sick. If there is a lawsuit, all you need to do is contact the law firm and they will want to see your evidence.. If it's legitimate they will add you to their class action.

Go do it for everyone who never noticed!!

smart girl :)
