I think your best bet would be to call the hotel and sound like you are supposed to be calling and just ask for Mrs. whoevers room and if they ring you thru then call the florist and have flowers delivered to her and sit back and watch what room the desk clerk takes them too or which room she comes out of to pick them up or the florist goes to. To be honest if I were you I would just send her the flowers with a note then sit back at home and wait for her to call you or for her to come home because if you chase after her she is going to think that she has the upper hand. Trust me I am a chick and I know I have been there and done that.

The laws have changed, they cannot give out any guest information.
A month ago I met my sister in another city and we both stayed at the same hotel. They changed her room 15 mins after check-in w/out my knowledge and when I called to get info cause I couldn't get a hold of her they would't give the room info to me even tho I was staying in the same hotel. I was able to be connected to her room tho by operator.

If you are hoping to have a 'career and employment' as a front desk clerk of a hotel, you must learn that he, or she, is at full liberty to REFUSE to disclose that information - since the female, whom you are searching for, has obviously NOT even told you where she is staying, or how to contact her !
...For all the desk clerk knows, you may even be a stalker - who is searching for his/her prey : She is even at complete liberty to hand you over to the Hotel's security personnel !

No. The most a front desk clerk will do is call the room for you, but they won't tell you what room she's in. Otherwise, it's a breach of privacy and security.

For security's sake they won't tell you the room number, but they will ring the room for you. But if your wife tells them not to put you through, they won't even do that.

yes you can ask the room no. but immediately request them take down a written message for her, or else they may get suspicious. Otherwise, you can start walking towards the elevator showing the staff that you are going to meet her.

They shouldn't tell you-- especially if you're going to ask in this very creepy way. Moreover, to keep your wife safe from potential harm (ahem!), they are not legally allowed to release that to an unauthorized person. LEAVE HER ALONE. Don't surprise her by freaking her out or she may surprise you by calling the cops!

Sounds like you have some issues, so fortunately they won't tell you her room number. They MAY call her and ask if she wants to talk to you, but I hope not for her sake.

They'll call her and notify her that you're up front, but I don't think they give room numbers out for the safety of that person.
