Absolutely!!!!
I dated my husband with the intension I am only allowing it to last 3 months at the longest. I have been married for 4 and a half years to the same guy I was going to send on his way. We have got 2 kids together and we love each other to bits!

Ok but then it also depends on a reason why you think it is not going to last. If the person cheats, STOP it immediately. Once a cheater, always a cheater.

I think you should date the person anyways. You don't know that the relationship isn't going to last. You may fall in love with your partner. You never know what could happen. If you only know someone on the surface, you could dislike them, but after you findout what they're really like, you could fall in love. If you don't even date the person, you'll always wonder about what could have been. Who knows, in 15 years you two could be happily married with 3 kids!

I think it's worth it... It's not like your BF/GF, or going steady. Back in the day, that's all women would do was date and date and different men all the time before they were married I think they were called suitors or gentleman callers(lol) no word of a lie, there is nothing wrong with spending time getting to know others and yourself and your likes and dislikes so you know what to keep later on in life. Just cause your on a date doesn't mean something has to happen. Best of luck and P.S - Don't lead him to believe that he's the one if he's not... it's just cool to hang out

Probably not, but it really depends on your age. If you're a teenager and you want to see what a relationship is like, and you both feel the same way - that the relationship is what you both want now - then it could be a good thing...

I think that in general dating is meant to help us find a partner who we want to stay with.

it can't be too worth it to date in a relationship you think is not going to last. but to know different personalities can make it worthy.

Umm... I think it's a good way to prepare for like, the real deal. Like getting over break ups and finding out about the opposite sex. Plus, you don't kno for sure it won't last. U never kno. u might just fall in love...

Well that depends, I think what really matters is if you had a good time with the person. Just enjoy the time with the person you're with, thats what counts not how long you'd be with the person.
