Watch it, the police will arrest you when drunk on the streets. And IF being drunk, you don't know when you're on the street or not. Fortunately (for you, not for the driver who hits you while you're walking drunk on the roads, he will have to give in his license), the punishments are very low in Holland for drunk people.

From about 1,70 euro to 3,50 in a more expensive cafe or at the Leidse plein. But in a stripping bar you could find yourself paying 50 euro for a beer (they then call it a free show)
