Nope. I use it and it's great. Just make sure you give it a a few minutes (I leave it about five or ten minutes after applying) to soak in, and wipe off the excess that will stay on your skin. It leaves your skin very very soft. I tried piles of commercially available moisturisers but they all irritated or left my skin feeling like a desert. (Just my experience, yours may be different). Good luck!

I would think it would make you break out. It is really good for removing make up with some cotton balls if you cannot afford anything expensive and you have used thick make up for a performance or something. I would not use it for a moisturize except for lips or perhaps a chapped nose from blowing it too much. I have used it for chapped heels in the winter. Better get something that is non comenogenic for the face that is does not promote acne. The jelly might be okay for an old person with no oil, but not for us younger people.

Instead, try Neosporin with pain relief. This moisturizes and clears skin.
The reason you need moisture to get rid of acne is your skin feels or thinks it's too dry, therefore overcompensating with too much oil resulting in acne. When you use a small amount of a moisturizer, this "tricks" your skin into feeling it has the correct amount of moisture and it won't create excess amounts.
Apply the white cream into your face prior to going to sleep, and to save money, get a store brand version- same ingredients, only less expensive.
I found no products that worked for my acne, sorry Judith Light, but this cleared my horrible, and I mean HORRIBLE acne within a few days.

Wrong. It's an oil... so it will form a barrier between your skin and the outside world. This will keep some moisture in, but it will also keep the moisture out, clog your pores, and feed bacteria which cause acne. Don't do it. Don't be cheap with your skin care... get good products from Clinique or something equivalent.

A agree with Polly, using it will only result in acne. If you want to use something to moisturize you skin, something home made try this: take a spoon full on honey and put it on your face after you`ve cleaned it and wait 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. It`s natural and very efficient. But don`t forget to clean your face very well before you do this.

No that is not true. it does not allow your skin to breathe at all..Good for feet and elbows, if you like using gas and oil on your skin., petroleum is basically what you put in your car..Also used in making plastic, fertilizers, solvents, lots of really neat things..

i wouldn't try that. it's far too heavy for my skin.
but i've read an article year back saying so....
"apply some vaseline with some water & massage onto your face till fully absorbed". i've never tried it. but let me know the results once you've tried it....
