I just spent a semester on that. If you dont get any good answers by tomoro i willl force my self back to that part of my mind that is unwillingly holding that info and hand it off to you.

Ok its been a day so here we go.

Pros:

It increases the ease of trade and trade increases world wealth on all sides (you wouldnt trade unless you thought you were getting something out of it so both side believe they have gained something...see?

It dissolves boarders. With no boarders there is no longer any reason to fight over who's land is whos. Plus it would make vacationing a whole lot easier.

It spreads knowledge. This allows everyone to share in the wealth of each cutltures wisdom, from medicine, to technology to stories.

Cultures meld. As cultures mix and become one, they no longer have any need to fight over who's culture/religion is right because they are all the same.

Government will become simpler. With everyone working togther, only one massive central goverment will be needed, eliminating wars between central governments and making rules universal and understood where ever you go.

Cons:

It increases the ease of trade. With the trade market on the boom, trading illigal substances such as drugs and weapons from place to place far to easy. Also the huge increase of wealth could cause serious inflation.

It dissolves boarders. With no security or desrimination between who can go where. A crimminal could escape on a plane and hide anywhere in the world without being searched for a passport or any form of ID.

It spreads knowledge. Some knowledge should stay where it is. A lot of the time innocence is bliss. Way too many people have been killed for knowing too much.

Cultures meld. Already we can see the effect of this issue. Currently there are 6,912 languages in the world. There used to be a whole lot more. And another example. Look at McDonalds (this is what I did my semester project on). You can go any where and the constant factor is always that you can find a McDonalds almost anywhere you look. Its crazy! With all of these cultures squashed together there will be no real cultural mosaic except in history books. How bland would that be?

Government will become simpler. We are constantly moving closer and closer to a single government, but way to many people have died along the way. Can you imagine the fighting that would occur over who gets to be king of the universe? Plus once the govenment is established, the amount of people under it would be beyond uncontrollable. A single government is just to hard.

Personally, I dont really have an oppinion on globalization, but many people do. There are lots of really good websites about globalization but most of them are bias. I'd show you the documentary I made but I cant think of any good way to do that, When your doing research always make sure you are seeing both sides of the picture. Good luck and have fun!!!
