first off im half japanese and half korean speaking both languages and english

everyday i go through racism and now its like a daily ruetine or something.

when i go to japanese school, my japanese friends make fun of korean and vice versa.

even in public school that i go to; when a white female teacher gives a bad grade on my firends(black, hispanic, asian, etc) grade, they would always say,"he/she is a racist" and would always talk bad about the teachers,by making bad comments/rumors about them.

the other day i went to my friend's myspace and saw a list of reason of how to get a "korean bf" and one of them said "make fun of japanese OFTEN" and it really pissed me off and on top of that,on that same day i was walking the street, and two hispanic dude came up to me and called me a "chink"

so the real question is:

Do u think racism is taking over people's lives?and if we continue having racists in this world what do u think will happen?

Racism is a loosely used word. Generated by many races to protect and promote their cultures (not a bad idea if controlled). But now ignorance at the lowest level has the term running amuck. Generally a culture overrun by another culture feels they need to preserve their values. This is natural and can be applied to the US today. I was raised in the 70's, 80's and 90's and have always been used to correct English and less gang culture. I see the ever increasing slang and gang/values as a threat to the production and communication efforts developed by man for the last 500 years. My natural defense is to be somewhat protective of my lifestyle and culture. We as a nation are sliding backwards in scholastics, science and English, whilst other developed countries are improving at these levels. It's gotten to the point in our ever-growing melting pot to throw the word racism around when comparing academics or any other important subjects in public. For example, BLING-BLING is something my 2 year old would say because he lacks a larger vocabulary. I see that as a step backwards for the country. Not in an individual sense but when adding up all of the sub-cultures it does affect a nation. Now factor in the shear numbers of two (I won't mention them) races for example. Stats indicate they breed at two times the rate as whites. But according to stats, their cultures are more then 5 times as likely to commit crime, adultery, form gangs and drop out of school. That will not improve our country. There is only so much Welfare that we can hand out, and that goes for everybody, white, black or blue. So if someone is critical, that does not make them a racist, but maybe a realist. Allow all opinions, without the facts, labeling someone a racist is racism.

It's always been that way. I'm sorry that people are jerks to you, but you'll have to grow a thicker skin. You're better than they are.
And just because a teacher gives bad grades, doesn't mean she's racist. Maybe your friends are stupid and that's why they get bad grades. Racism is blamed for a lot.
I hear a lot of "I didn't get a job because the guy who interviewed me was white and I'm black."
What the hell does that have to do with it? The vast majority of companies wouldn't even dream of discrimination, lest they incite a lawsuit. Perhaps is the poor grammar and bad hygiene instead?
Anyways, sorry about the rant. I'm just sick of people making excuses about why it's not their fault they can't get a job or get good grades. It pisses me off, because I worked really hard in college and I work hard at work, and if someone gets a free pass because of their race, then why the hell am I even trying?
But you are right, there is still a lot of racism and while I think people have a right to thier opinions ignorant or not, it doesn't mean they should get to harrass people either.

Well, that's kind of a long question, but I get it. A "racist" is someone who actually holds some power, like a governor or the head of GE, if he's on the board of some oversight committee. Otherwise, they're just BIGOTS who show their ignorance and by such may be ignored. Ignore bigots and drive racists out of power. We all DO get along better than the ones in power would have us believe. Just look at what happened in the days following 9-11: less road rage, people being more polite to one another. Then those in power tried to get their power back by dividing us again. That's where their power lies. FEAR. I'm not afraid of you. I try like hell to make people not be afraid of me. It's a lot of work. The lazy ones put everything off on someone else. As a matter of fact, I have big plans that involve learning Spanish. And believe me, I'm not Spanish.

Yes, because it is a natural reflex, a divice to protect and promote your own gene and race. It can get as small or as global as possible.
i.e Greece is not fond of Turkey. every football turnament Greece is divided almost religiously into the 3 dominating teams. Where i live we are religiously divided (Orthdox and Catholic). In my highly patriarchic family most men and women are divided or being divided.
These are all forms or racism.
I am not saying it is good or bad, it just is so.

Personally yes i belive that its starting to take over. People are using race as an excuess for there ways and "in your case with those students at school who got the bad grades" a reason to mess up in general. it shouldnt matter what color your skin is or what you look like. there is always gonna be racists in the world. it just takes a bigger person to overcome that.

No, I think you just need to ignore people. I experience more racism than you mainly because I am: black, british (americans hate the british), and jamaican. Everyone thinks that I am a pot-smoking rasta who likes saying "Yea Mann".

This is far more than a question.

You clearly need to talk to someone about this...

Racism has always been a huge problem in society and in our world.

It's deeper than racism... it's human pride. 'I am or we are better than them' "they are so bad at doing this and that'...

So many wars...so many killings...

blame racism...blame religion...blame them...

No blame yourself... we are all to blame.
