yes because they are the most amazing people in my life and nobody will ever be as patient with me as they are. Also because they've given me guidance and supported me in every way imaginable.

What a hard question. Yes and no. Relative to what? I don't have the best relationship with my parents, but it's ok. Better than a lot of people. My mom and I don't click on a fundamental level; we're very different, we could never be "best friends," but she tries, and she always has, so I love her. And I like a lot about her. At the same time, I feel a disconnect because she's hard to be close to, she's emotionally unavailable a lot of the time, and she doesn't accept me as I am (nor does she really accept herself- hence the problem). To me, loving someone is all about accepting them how they are, so because she tries to change me, I wonder if she can really love me, and that makes me sad so I feel angry towards her. But the relationship isn't "bad."
My dad and I were kind of divided when my parents split; I had some misconceptions about him early on, but now I think he's a great guy. Are we as close as we might have been? No. But that's largely due to circumstance and not us. I feel that I understand my dad; we're very similar, and this really enriches our relationship, however patchy it may have been in the past. It's still kind of growing, and I hope we get closer. I'd love to have one parent who I'm very close to, and who I know one hundred percent accepts me.

yes. It is not perfect. but, we compensate. pick and choose fights. help out with eachother's problems/daily chores. and offer advise when times call for it.
we play board games,,,,,every so often. but one thing that bonds us together is watching ONE TV in one room show/movie and talking about what we watch.
we do things together. EVEN IF NOT EVERYONE loves it, we respect that we have different interests. NO pouting, no whining no sitting down at the mall and waiting. we participate in what the other member of the family is doing. we GET INVOLVED.

Yes, especially since I moved out. Not tripping on each other's toes did have a very good effect and we are visiting each other often and everything's fine.

I do with my mother, but I do not with my parent in laws, because they are sarcastic, and rude.
