Deepest darkest suburbia. Lots of trains stop there.

I think that's about it.

A great area! I grew up there. Most of the streets are treelined, and there are some great houses, as well as lots of other accommodation. There are parks and sporting facilities. It is connected by walk/bike paths to Homebush Bay. There are lots of great walks in fact. It is really central - a major rail station, with fast train connections to the city. You can be in town in 15 - 20 minutes by train. It is close to large shopping centres at Burwood and Roselands, and not far from Parramatta, plus there is a nice smaller shopping centre at Strathfield. If your not in town, and your not at the beach, Strathfield is the place to live!

Good transport from there, especially by train (north, east and west). Doesn't take long to get to the Sydney CBD.

Very near Olympic Park, if you are interested in it.

Besides that, just another suburb. Neither good nor bad.
