I watch at least 4 -5 hrs. of live feeds a day.its like a long soap opera.

Because it gives all of us a chance to be a "fly on the wall" and eavesdrop on someone's personal life. Obviously, that's addicting.

It's something to pass time I guess. I have to admit tho I make sure there's nothing going on when Big Brother All Stars comes on! I am soooooo Addicted! now stop playing on the computer and go watch some reality TV.LOL

The same reason why I'm watching Big Brother 7 live feeds while answering questions. I just can't stop watching the train wreck.

Reality TV is addicting because it boosts the viewers self esteem to see idiots acting out. Also, it is entertainment that takes no brainpower to process so us dumb Americans can enjoy the show without having to exercise our limited intelligence.

Because it is always nice to know that someone else is more nuts than you. Also it is fun to watch people back stab each other to get to the end of thier show.

It can make you feel better about your own life.
You aren't them living your life and being so stupid on live TV.
Although I do love Survivor, Big Brother almost hurts to watch they are so cruel to eachother.

probably because when that mess up there life on national TV its funny to people, or sometimes you feel bad for them, and it could be that you relate to the people.........
