The Beatles.They haven't played together as a band in over 35 years,two members are dead,and they are still relevant and talked about probably more than any other single band ever.No Contest.

Led Zeppelin with out a doubt they have some many hits its un beleivable and all the memeber are extremely talented robert plant has the most amazing voice jimmy page is a guitar god the best there is i think he cant be beat no one can write music like he can john bonham is the best drummer in my eyes its so powerfull tis like dynamite is going off and john paul jones juts puts it together with his bass lines

the number one band of all time was the mannheim symphony orchestra circa 1750. Without this orchestra there wouldn't be any emphasis on melody or phrasing or dynamics, or that which has become known as classical music. without classical music there would be no Beatles or any other band known today.
