at was working at frist but just the other day it stopped reading cds i insert on it....it won't work everytime i try to play a cd on my pc....
when i tried opening the drive a dialouge box appears and says something like "device is not accessible" or "device not ready"...
when i try to play the cd player it shows "no data or disc loaded",when i load the disc...what might be the problem???
how can i fix it???HELP!!!!please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like the cdrom is bad, or you are running windows 98. But a new one they are cheap.

CD-ROMS are normally the first thing to break on a PC.
How old is it? A CD-ROM is really cheap, so it's cheaper to replace it than to send it back to China to have it repaired.

Chances are you just need to reload the device driver.
