its on the side of my leg and im scared that if i get it opperated i might end up with a hole.

a hole is better then being 6 feet under cause of cancer.. my mom had a mole on her nose that turned into cancer. they had a dermatologist that specialised in skin cancer to remove it so he could get the right amout out and leave little scaring. wich is what happen now you dont even see it on my mom

It depends on the size of the mole and if it's cancerous or not. If a mole isn't cancerous, the margins of removal are generally pretty small. If the scar is big enough, they'll use skin grafts. Generally speaking, the scars aren't bad. Cost is up to your doctor and insurance company.

i used to have a large mole on my shoulder. i worried and fussed about it for years, and then someone told me i should tie a piece of thread around it tightly. it took about a week, and then it fell off. i have no scar and i know the spot only because i know where it USED to be. good luck.

i used to have a large mole on my forehead. i got it removed through laser & it is gone leaving some scar that looks like chicken pox mark. not that bad afterall. i wonder if there is new way to remove moles now...

u can go 4 cosmetic surgery. not very costly. had one myself. thee is a small scar initially, but an ointment is given, which wen used regularly, fades the scar.

i got mine done for 5 bucks through my hmo, it was a small one tho on my neck, i told them it was bothering me because my shirt rubbed it. no scar really
