If you are sure your email was hacked then you have larger issues than taking it back.

You most likely have a password dialer on your system.

Run Antivirus and Antihack utilities.

If you do manage to rid your system, I recommend a brand new email address and brand new passwords.

Passwords should be at least 8 characters in length and combine both upper and lower case letters and numbers.

Passwords should be changed frequently.

Use another email account that you have on hand and email the administrator and report about the account being hackled. they will look into proper solution for you. this is the best way.

I couldn't do anything in a similar situation. it was a year of fighting, reporting, complaining... nothing worked. I had to switch to another account and was doing it very cautiously not to let the hacker trace me again.
