it made my google bar disappear but when it made my yahoo bar disappear- NOW im mad!! and it wont let me untinstall it - i did a search and there are companies that want me to pay to get rid of it - i have avast antivirus and it cant seem to get rid of it - HELP!!!

No, CCleaner only empties temp files, etc. . you need to do the following, you can do it for FREE!!!
go to this website:

Sign up (register - create a username and password), and login and go to "Forums" (upper left),
and then on the forums page scroll down to "Security". . click on that forum. .
and then in Security, click on "Post New Thread" (either upper right or upper left), and then post a message (you're basically creating a new thread on a forum), and describe your problem.
Someone will be along shortly to help you, [they'll post answers now asking you to do this or that, and interact with you to fix your problem (it's a forum like this, post and answer, and then post again, etc. ] and it's free and the people at this site are experts on getting rid of malware (spyware and viruses) off of your PC (some do nothing else). .
(if it's the middle of the night when you go there, you might have to wait a few minutes (like a half hour) if you go at the wrong time, cause they are down for about a half hour in the middle of the night to back up their servers, but it's well worth it to go there and have them instruct you.
If anyone can get rid of it, they can.

download a program called ccleaner, you can download it from www.filehippo.com, it is awesome and I do not understand why more people do not have it...run this program and you should be able to get rid of it...what your run for is for issues...
