well that is because they dont trust the taxi anymore. taxis have never acted in the passengers best interests. when you try to take a taxi then all the other taxi drivers are confusing you with too many choices .. while all this is happening you are being bombed to death... u simply want to take the first taxi home then think about all the other things in life to-do... because u wont survive for long

They cant get anywhere becuase Israel has blockaded the country and made it impossible for them to escape. Besides, you try catching a cab when your city is getting bombed and the cabs blow up in your face. Perhaps those people in the Twin Towers should have just gotten a taxi eh?

Most of the roads in and out of Lebanon have been bombed, to keep the enemy forces from being able to move around, and to also cut off chances of being resupplied..
