Uncle Sam thinks I've been bad (I said something stupid that wasn't serious but illegal and will be put on a diversion program) and will take away my internet privileges for some or all of the program, which will run 12-18 months.

I have email accounts among other issues. I know they will go defunct if I do not log in to them for a few months. Will I just have to let them go for good? What else should I concern myself with?

I presume I could get an exemption to use a computer to look for work, and for work...maybe I could keep my email...I might just have my web surfing privileges removed...either way, has anyone had a similar experience?

I will be allowed to keep the internet in my house. I suppose I could have my brother or dad log in, but I don't know if they'll be monitoring and consider it a violation? I will ask and maybe the officer will explain this a bit more.

I see you live in a really free country?????
The internet is universal freedom to the point where you have not harmed anyone. It is freedom of speech. How could they do that to you.

Pretty well just shut them down yourself. If you did something wrong and try to keep them going under those conditions they will findout and really go after you. Might even see prison time.

No I havn't even known anyone that has been in that cituation.

Even if you have someone else keep them going you may get blamed and get in trouble for it. Just let them go and be done with it.

I think you should have a friend upkeep your accounts for you. Try not to go breaking the law again. I had NO idea that the less than huge hackers had these kinds of penalties. BEHAVE is the moral.
