Actually you cannot quite be car sick in a bus - You can however be "bus sick" in a bus - this has all the symptoms of car-sickness just bigger and more expansive feeling...

Car sickness is just another term for motion sickness. You can get sick in any vehicle. One way to battle the problem is to keep your eyes on the road ahead. Have you noticed that the driver never gets sick!

Ride in the front of the bus. The back jostles around more.
Try focusing in front of the bus, and keep your eyes there.
Dramamine works wonders. Get it at Rite Aid.

you can even be car sick on a boat or plane. its motion sickness. you can even get it in a workplace where there are conveyors and belts running in different directions.
