Chatting how? If you mean sex chatting, you're setting yourself up for a fierce blow out. If you mean chatting on line, everything in moderation. As long as you're taking care of your priorities, including the spouse and kids, and you're putting in enough social time with family, I wouldn't see it as a problem. See how your partner feels.

If your single goal is to superficially kick it about different topics, and you aren't flirting things should remain fairly ok.

chatting in general is okay. However, if you are building a relationship with one person in particular, you may be walking on thin ice. I say that because I bet you are discussing things with this person that you probably should be discussing with your spouse. I'm not even talking about romantic stuff. You spouse is supposed to be your best friend and confidant. I don't know how long you can chat past 15 minutes and still be talking about superficial things. You may be creating an emotional affair and using this chat buddy for the emotional involvement you should be sharing with your spouse.

If it is not interfering with you marriage duties or your time with your spouse and family. So many people get hooked on chatting and don't realize that they have been on for hours, neglecting their loved ones. I have been talking to my daughter about it because she will come in from work and sit down at the computer and not interact with her kids. They need her full attention. You can't parent or have a good marriage with your back to them and your attention stuck on chatting. Chatting can also lead to cheating in one form or another. Be careful and respect yourself and your spouse!

Yeah I guess it's okay, but remember that how the Devil works!!! You start out with innocent chatting knowing some perv or someone is going to entertain a thought, just be careful (If you feel guilty, don't do it). I know if I was married I wouldn't want to be on here, but instead spending time with him!!

of course chatting is ok!! it just depends on the material you use in chatting. when you got married you told the other that you were devoted to them...just dont do or say anything risky!

there's nothing wrong with a friendly chat... as long as you stay within the boundaries of matrimony. else, if you feel you're marriage would be affected, then lay off of it...

If you have to ask, it's with someone you want to have sex with. either have the affair now and save yourself some heart ache, or stay away from it and have a happy marriage.
