It's suggested, there are no rules about it. Anyone gives you grief, ask them where it says that in the Big Book.
I think the 1-year rule comes from rehabs, and was picked up by the old-timers so that they would get first crack at the newcomer women. "Oh yeah, USUALLY it's wrong, but I'm soooo spiritual..."

Inter group dating is a bad move 13 stepping doesn't work 9 times out of 10. your addictions will only cause you both to loose your hard won sobriety. why go back when tomorrows almost here.
