You can go to your local city hall first of all then go to dept. of land and agriculture. or planning and development. They will be able to help. Yes you must first make sure you own the drilling right as well. I am sure you probably do. I have a friend who you can contact. Jud Little . The Quintin Little Company . He is based in Oklahoma but he has alot of interest in Kansas as well if he is not available ask for debbie and she might be able to help or if she is not in ask for Andy. There are drilling businesses all over the place. The yellow pages is a place to find them. If you have the money, you can drill for anything and as deep as you like. Whether or not oil come from the hole or not, is another matter.
