I've learned from previous mistakes that it's better to go with my gut.

either works for me... but most of my desicions are gut instincts and always comes out right. before going onto logic, often we ask ourselves why, and then we proceed, right? oftentimes we seek our seers and peers if we feel a li'l queasy and unease. thereby we follow our instincts whenever a doubt arises. however, logically, we claim otherwise... supposedly, we use logic because a precedent already exist. but that doesn't hold true. look at the stock market... there lies the battle between logic and gut feeling.... mostly, gut feelings comes first... therefore, if you want to know which weighs more, observe the stock market... the dealers and wheelers, youd see the outcome of both...

That "gut" feeling is intuition, and it's never wrong. It is your subconscious telling you that something is not well. Your conscious mind has put together only some of the facts, whereas your intuition has gathered the whole picture, without you even knowing it.
So it really is more logical to follow your gut, because your subconscious has the whole story.

logic, instincts can more then often be wrong, logic is hard facts that you've come by, and have come to realize. If you have something in front of your face, are you going to deny that it is there? Now if you close your eyes, and are asked if that object is still there, are you sure it hasn't moved?
Good luck and take care

When I was younger...logic always won out.

Now I always listen to my 'gut instinct' regardless of it may make me look to others.
