You really want to focus on your reflex muscles to get quicker. Jumping rope, doing ski jumps over a trash can, defensive drills are some ways to help. Mostly, I'd just suggest playing balls-out as much as you can a week before and then doing some lighter drills to concentrate on those areas the week before. Don't overdo it the week before or you'll wear yourself out for the try outs. Good luck.

The way i see it, u already got enough game 2 make a team. If all ur saying is u need 2 jump higher and run faster, then ur already set. But if u want 2 improve tht kind of stuff, just jump and run around alot. It should help alot. Oh and the growth problem is somthing u have 2 deal with. I am trying 2 make the junior high basketball team and i'm no Shawn Bradley but i'm good.

LOL, I don't think hanging from monkey bars is what made Michael Jordan 6'6" tall, but you can try it if you want.

How to jump higher? Get up early and keep jumping all day, this will increase your leg muscles and increase your jumping power. To run faster, you just run more and build up your leg muscles.

Get outside and start working those legs to death. You'll get there eventually, but not in two weeks.

you are kinda screwed, two weeks isnt very much time. You should play basketball with your friends a lot. Thats the best way to improve. Also, to improve your jumping, do a lot of calf raises ( go up on your toes and then come back down) Do those till it burns like hell. Also do wall sits.

use the treadmill and jumprope and try to jump over one of your frinds trust me it will help and play basketball every day untill school trust me it will help.
