ok, him and i almost hooked up but then we went through some problems, i gave him so many chances but he hasn't given me one. every time i am not expecting NE thing to happen he turns around and says/does something. like he said he really liked me when i thought we were just friends, then he dropped me because another guy was crushing on me and he got mad that he kept trying to get me to go for him so he dropped me then we went to a dance and he was drunk then we hooked up he kept saying that he had to wait for the right moment to ask me out and it had to be when he was drunk. then the next day we broke up because he didn't remember. we almost hooked up again then said i am to nice to hurt. we were still close friends and my dad knows that he is my good friend and he didn't earlier . then 'my close friend' said that he dropped me earlier because he didn't want to sneek around my parents but my parents are both ok with him and he knows it. he and i are in an arguement over that girl

Thats the funny thing with friends of the opposite sex...

Men and women cannot be "just friends" without sex OR relationship issues complicating things.

men are hardwired to have sex - the whole primal procreate the species thing.
women are hardwired for community and nurturance -

Women don't get it because in their "community" mind...sense of family and secondary family is normal...
men get it.
Men will tell any woman - "hey lets be 'just friends' and have a good time together" ... remember men are hunter / gatherers.

So yes...you have a male friend. And your'e jealous because he went and did the male thing. He left your sense of community for another sense of community ans this is confounding.

What do you do about it?
Outside and apart from the jealousy...are you in love...?
Is he the one??

If so, you better come clean and let him know.

If you're not in love; call it a lesson in why men and women can't be friends - until they accept and understand certain conditions.

Good luck - I truly hope it turns to your favor.

Jealousy is the worst emotion to have. It can ruin a relationship/friendship in no time! You are being selfish to yourself and to your guy friend. Maybe he is happy with this new girl and i think you should be happy for him too. That's what friends should do.

HMMM, THATS A TOUGH ONE-BECAUSE IF YOU BE HONEST WITH HIM AND TELL HIM HOW YOU FEEL YOU COULD LOSE A FRIEND IF HE DOESNT LIKE THAT, OR YOU COULD END UP IN A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP. IT DEPENDS THOUGH, IF YOURE JEALOUS CUZ YOU WISH YOU WERE HER, OR BECAUSE HE DOESNT SPEND AS MUCH TIME WITH YOU. IF ITS BECAUSE HE DOESNT HANG OUT WITH YOU AS MUCH THEN SAY "HEY I MISS MY BEST FRIEND-CAN WE HANG OUT SOMETIME?" THERES NOTHING WORTH RUINING A FRIENDSHIP THOUGH, I GUESS EVALUATE WHY YOURE JEALOUS.

Don't let him know. Smile and act like you don't give a darn and have fun. He'll come back to you. Good luck.

y should u be jealous he is just ur friend after all...obviously u have strong feelings for him...i think u should tell him how u feel..u never kno wat could happen he may just have the same feelings towards u...and if he doesn't make sure u still treat him the same way..therefore at least u still have the friendship....
