If you're surfing the web and your boss walks up behind you, do you close the browser or keep it up?

So, in your opinion is it better to:

a: Close the browser which looks suspicious, or
b: Keep it open since he already saw, and hope he doesn't think you're a slacker..

(I'm talking about a news website or something like that)

Here try this instead, from now on don't maximize the browsing screen , instead resize it and keep it really small yet large enough to do whatever it is your trying to do. and behind the browser screen keep some work or something on the screen, then if your boss comes near just minimize the small browser screen and look like your working, lol. 8 times outta 10, Your boss wont notice you even minimized the browser if its small and it saves you a lot of worrying. I hope i helped. Try that im sure it'll work, i do that in school sometimes or even at home when my parents are being nosy, lol. oh yea and since its not a fun-type website i would have just left the browser open. Your boss most likely would understand, hey your stuck at work for cryin out loud! Lol.

don't close the brower, it definetly looks suspicious. keep it open. tell your boss that you were getting sidetracked, so you needed a quick break to help get things back in focus. tell him that it was only for 5 minutes and that you will afterwards go right back to business
