1.check weather ur volume is mute or not.
2. check ur speaker's volume is not null
3. check weather the current is flowing properly in which socket u've pluged in ur speakers.
4. check if any wire coming to speakers is damage.
5. check ur sound card with another speakers.
if not then:
if ur sound card is external then pull it from slot and refix it.
if its internal then try to reinstall the driver.
if still it is not working then u may need a new soundcard hardware.

if all the solutions submitted above do not work, send an e-mail to your motherboard manufacturer they may have another driver or any other solution. It was the case with my Asus P4S800-Mx voice/audio on board and they kindly send me another driver.
good luck.
