You'll have to hunt for it and make a shortcut yourself.
First... look in your Add/ Remove programs and see if it is listed there. If so, do properties on it and that will show you where the 'target' is. Go there and right clk to make a desktop shortcut.
If not listed in Add/ Remove programs, do a search on C:\ for "AIM" or AIM.exe. This may find it.
My Instant Messenger is bundled with Netscape and is file named NETSCP.exe to start Instant Message.
I don't know why they make it a ***** to find but they do!
