Oh man, do I ever!
It's great to see many of them making a comeback!
I got hooked on hair metal when someone gave me a copy of Dokken's "Under Lock and Key"...then I remember how huge "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi was!
My first concert was Monsters of Rock...Kingdom Come, Metallica, Dokken, Scorpions, Van Halen...it was AWESOME!
The most fun concert I ever went to was Poison...Talk Dirty to Me is one of my all time faves.
I had long hair myself, although my picture shows I've turned a 180.
Wow, thanks for this question...I miss those days!

You should look into if any of your local radio stations syndicate "House of Hair," hosted by Dee Snyder. Great show for a great two hour flashback.
PS: Those hairbands are still on tour. Hell, Snyder and Twisted Sister are in my area on July 22.

they always hurt my head.
I miss cute barrettes. I hate the kind with those sharp metal backs.

I almost hate to admit it (due to risk of ridicule) but I do! I was one hard rockin', head banging girl back then! I think I got whiplash at a RATT concert once.

i work in a club and i see some of the young kids going that route with their style... you never know... these things are cyclical.
