why are there so many mean people here? there are hardly any nice ones?

i ask a quesiton and everyone is like "wtf i dont know.." its like then dont even bother answering! has anyone got these comments?

i have them vote because i dont know which one to choose. i sometimes delete questions that have a really mean answer(s) because i know that there are young ones out there reading quesitons and i dont want them to see rude words. but of coarse its impossible to completely secure them.

also i dont care about the points. i just like giving advice and learning. its not like the points can buy you a brain or give you a good life or anything

People just want to add a comment to grab the 2 points and move on.. Now let me ask you something.. Your not asking this question based on your other questions.. I have skimmed through them and only saw 1 dumb answer.. But I did notice you don't come back and select a best answer for your questions.. You allow them to go to voting? Why would you do that? You are missing out on some points.. And missing rewarding a great answer you got, That you liked.. But allowed others to vote for?

Yes, I get comments like that and I ignore them. If you check the link that says My Q&A, you'll get lots of posts. Just ignore the ones you don't appreciate. People are sometimes answering just to get points. Here are a couple of ways to get better Answers. Make sure to put your post into the right category and sub-category when you're asking. Also, put more information about your question in there so intelligent nice people can answer you properly. I've noticed that there are lots of young kids just flinging their hormones around here so you have to beware the intelligent nice people do have other things to do and probably won't always be in here answering questions because they work and have responsiblities in life.

There's a LOT of "Gaming for points" going on... Plus, most people can't form a coherent sentence, so you've got that working against you. But...there's also a LOT of questions that don't make any sense!

If you want a well thought out answer make sure your question is formed intelligently. Good grammar never hurts, nor does something interesting to say!

Oh, also if you can just go to Google and type in any key word from your question and recieve an answer...why ask here? (note, this doesn't apply to your question, but to the VAST majority of questions here...)

I have seen some mean people too. I am not one of them though. If I don't know an answer for you I won't answer your question at all. Some people do that because it is an easy way to get two points. I haven't gotten any comments like that but I have seen many of them.

Im Not Mean. People answer questions to get points even though points are useless. just say points and people think its a competition. I Think The reason their are so many mean people are here is because they can be as mean as they want on theinternet and know theyll never see u in real life. Dont worry about them, alot of these people are angry nerds who think they know everything.

What were your questions? Were they silly questions? I do understand, though, what you mean; some people are going to just type something hateful or type something that has nothing to do with the question. Don't take those answers personally. Those people make discontentment a part of their lives.

Well, sweetie, there are plenty of nice people here, but if they can't answer the question they usually don't say anything. However, the mean ones will answer, because they only care about getting their two points. I hope you won't let them bother you.

yeah there are a lot of people who are mean and jerks, but then there are really a lot of nice people too. Unfortunately, we don't stand out as much.

People answer your questions with those stupid responses so they can just get points. I would just ask them, ok so now you have your points what are you gonna do with them......buy a car?

Anyway don't give up, there really are people on here who try to help other people......just have to put up with all the boneheads to find them.

This is the internet and unfortunately, even mean people are allowed access ;).

A lot of people may come here to blow off steam, because they are bored, etc and don't intend to seriously answer/ask any questions.

Some people also tend to ask questions so specific, one has to imagine who could answer and sometimes people feel the need to meanly state the obvious.

Don't take it personally.

See people that spend a lot of time on the computer are all frustrated because they are mostly lonely people who search for someone and when they do not find it, they get frustrated and go out of control. Or those who are married and spend a lot of time on the computer, always have marriage problems because of the wife and husband being jealous of a newcomer called computer.
