World war II was on an end at that time, it was not necessary, the Bomb that US dropped was not the key, they just really want to test it.
What if the Arabs have the same thinking as yours? Bomb the US to end their problem... no country is more innocent than the other. No country was appointed to be the "hand of God"
I thought America is the home of Born Again Christians?
They are already sufferring, why dont you go there and live there instead?
War is never the Solution. It only favors US because US provide the arms to their allies.
Watch DISCOVERY Channel, read more books, know more people.
Thanks for asking.

Friend, do you think U.S has only the Nuclear Weapons? It is not the situation as in World War II. Another thing, you are saying U.S helped to end the World War II. How can it be! They have started another conflict in Middle East after the World War II. i.e. through the help of U.S. a nation named Israel was formed during those days. Everywhere in the World where US Millitary had touched their boots, there are problems. That's an uncovered truth, even a single US citizen can't deny that truth. War is not a perfect solution.
I don't support US, Israel, Iran, India, Palestine or any of the country that follow the path of violence to hold the power. War kills thousands and thousands of people, but War creates wounds in the Heart, which cannot be cured!

No, a big part of the effect of the Bomb on Japan is that they did not know what had hit them, were not ready to respond, and were in shock from the casualties inflicted by the bomb. It had far more psychological effect then affects to the economy of Japan, or her ability to resist. It was an overwhelming weapon. Those factors don't count today, and the US would be seen as a bully (as if we are not already). Too, there is a high probability that use of the weapon could bring retaliation in kind, and the war in the Middle east is not worth losing one US city over.

A lot of people like to think that we can go around throwing nuclear weapons at any problem we see in the world. The use of nuclear weapons is a dangerous hallmark, soon as a nuclear weapon is used, every single nuclear power in the world goes on high alert, and such a destructive bomb will destroy everything in it's path and screw up the area for decades if not centuries. I have actually proposed what you are saying in the past but, as far as practicality goes, it does'nt cut it.

why do so many people seem to think that the solution to every problem is bombing? bombing created the problem, and most likely more bombing will not fix it.
not too mention, ww2 was pretty much over when we dropped the a-bombs, it was more of a real life test than really needed to end the war.
not too mention as well, any one dropping an atomic bomb today is going to find themselves very quickly fighting the rest of the world no doubt.

It stopped the Japanese, yes.
But lets not forget they had very little support - except from Axis countries which were being defeated in Europe.
Bombing the Middle East, especially with nuclear weapons, I feel won't change a thing...that is, war will continue and instead, the US will become a target too.
Terrorism is disgusting. Terrorism is killing civilians.
If you are a US citizen...WHY are you condoning terrorism??

Problem is, if we drop an atomic bomb in the middle of these countries, there won't be anybody left to start from scratch. Right?

The end. You just solved everything. Run to the UN and show them your proposal. You should win a Nobel Peace Prize.
The atomic bomb: The answer to the world's problems.
Idiot. In case you didn't notice, that was sarcasm.

it somewhat is an idiotic question, and your reasonings are ignorant. you favor to get your information instantly beforehand making a fool of your self with baseless information. McCain has suggested that easily one of his greatest regrets is that he replaced into excellent, in that we were going into Iraq underprepared, and underequipped (ensuing in mass casualities interior the starting up). He did not say that he may proceed the warfare always. He has suggested that he needs this warfare to come back to end with victory. So, that each and each human being the troops which have lost their lives combating, received't have lost them in ineffective. there is such project as victory. And what the hell are you talking about Iraq made our us of a safer. WE, our TROOPS make our us of a safer, and capturing terrorists, at the same time with in Iraq DOES and HAS executed that. McCain has suggested that he hates warfare more suitable than something (keep in recommendations his ordeal, he would not favor that occurring to everyone, ever), and he will carry the Iraq warfare to an end. on your information there are 13 provinces in Iraq and 10 of them at the prompt are lower than Iraqi administration, with Iraqi forces, educated by skill of the united states, and possibility-free. you favor to do your analyze chum. do not overlook 9/11, by no skill overlook 9/11. there have been a lot less troops die in Iraq than possibility free people on that one tragic day of 9/11. and do not you for one second imagine that you recognize all the inner intelligence received. You by no skill will. It replaced into not a warfare all started in ineffective, and our squaddies preserving your freedom, would not have lost their lives in ineffective both. we ought to emerge positive, and swiftly collectively.

Nuking is out of the question, screws up the oil reserves. Build a big wall around everything with one door. Patrol it with military units from the rest of the world. Eventually there will be a knock at the door from the last guy standing. He wins.
