There are different titles of God referred to in the bible. Some of which other people have answered on here. But I always wondered if anyone in the world actually named their child God--now that would be weird.

The Judeo Christian god is often called Yahweh, Jehovah, Adonay or Elohim. He also has an eleven character name that is unknown and unpronounceable (Jewish Mythos).
Elohim is from Hebrew and is usually translated as "God of Israel". While Adonay simple means "The Lord", Yahweh means "the name of God". The name Jehovah appears more times than any other and was never suppose to be pronounced and other names were often substituted. It means "He who is".

Hi, GOD has a name. It is mentioned in the Bible. But it is very holy to be even uttered by our mouths. Some honchu has already uttered the holy name first in the list of answers to ur question.

In one of the answers I had answered, Tetragammaton is to be the Real Name of God. You are never to speak it or even sound it out. Out of that in the original Hebrew, You get Yaweh, But that is the Judeo part of it.

Elohim is another name of God. I'm sure that He has a name even more holy that we do not know. It wouldn't be so much fun if we knew every mystery of the Lord. And that would defeat the purpose of faith.

I remember reading about angels and everything, and I saw that one of the fallen angel's sins were giving out, or finding out the real name of God.
I think it's similar to how people arn't supposed to see God.
I think there's a thing in literature, where the persons true name is extremely powerful. (Earthsea books, a story arc in Angel (TV series) and...Rumplestilkskin...lol)

The name of God is ALLAH and it's mentioned everywhere in the Holy Qur'an...If you are strong enough and feel that if you read the Holy Qur'an you wont be muslim because of all the true facts and reality then read it. But Islam is the best relegion of all...
