China is a large country with many people. The economy is growing, but restricted by it's government. We don't get much news from China. We know little of day to day life. I've heard it is becomming more modernized, but to what extent, I'm not sure.

China is very different now because of the whole sending an astronaut into space.
The country has a huge population of people and a variety of languages.
People there are able to produce things for a lesser cost.
However, some parts are still quite poor but I believe that will soon change.
The culture of the Chinese is fascinating and will continue to expand globally.
I'm Chinese myself but have never visited anywhere outside of North America... but I plan to soon^^

China is awesome. China has the good martial arts and very fancy weapons. Also, I am a fan of the documentary "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", which took place in ancient China (around the same time that the Pax Romana was happening in Rome). Yeah. China is awesome.

they are expanding really fast and getting ahead of the game. they seem to find a lot of ways to reproduce things in a less expensive way. i have seen shows about china's economy in my history class and a lot of lives and the environment is at risk, all the factories are neighbors to poor families who depend on the river side or their land to make a living. and the factories are interfering with their lives, ruining their land and forcing a lot of them to work in factories with really low wages. there are a lot of videos online showing the work conditions in china.
i'm chinese too, but i'm american born, never been back to china or hong kong.

I think the Chinese people have a very beautiful culture. I’m very fond of Chinese art and architecture. I hope to visit one day.
