seriously... i wanted to ask this to a person in particular, but i don't want her to know that i'm even thinking about her. she put up with soo much i never would have. they messed around after work in the restaurant. never got to go on dates. couldn't have a real relationship. couldn't talk on the phone except on his drive to and from work. couldn't text each other. had to hide thier relationship from everyone. did she really beleive that we had all of these problems before her. why didn't they think that maybe they were making problems that were allready there worse. then they couldn't talk on the phone at all because i got the bill. it went on long after the paper trail disappeared. why would a woman love a man that wouldn't bring her out in the light of day while he went home to pretend to be faithful to his wife. what kind of love is that? why did she "wait" for him, only to have him leave her, because he couldn't respect her enough to deal with how the world judge him.

I believe it was beacuse she felt that he loved her, and when you are in love you want to do anything to make your partner happy. I am not saying that being a mistress is right but most men tell them that there wives dont understand them, that they are staying for the kids, I believe deep down they know they are getting lied to but it doesn't make it easier to leave them. Most women in this situation want to be loved and do not love themselves. Look women is not the ONLY one at fault. The man seems to be free of all blame. it is not fair, not fair to her, him and both families.

Hard up, desperate and no respect for themselves or for the wife of the husband. If he is married, don't believe a word he says and if you believe it......then perhaps something is wrong with this woman. You sound like a nice guy and wondering why she liked him when you are not married and a nice guy. Put a wedding ring on and a type of woman is attracted to the unavailable because she doesn't want a permanent relationship, she has low self-esteem and having someone Else's man makes her low self-esteem rise. Probably her Father didn't pay attention to her or a broken family or maybe she has no moral background or any respect for herself. She may be just plain gullible, but maybe she is just young and someone who preys on gullible young women told her exactly what she needed to hear. She needs to cut her losses and you need to learn from her mistakes. Rule, if he is married run for the hills.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ask her and let her know you are thinking about her and don't be judgmental. Unfortunately, sometimes the heart leads and good judgment doesn't follow, so be a good friend and find yourself someone else to build a relationship with.

One possible reason is that even though all women have one, most if not all, think that they have the "golden vagina" and that sex with them will be overpowering to a male! It may be good sex, it may be great sex, it may be the best sex ever, but men normally think of more than sex when choosing a mate for the long term. She may not have realized this!
And realistically speaking, it could have been just recreational sex. We guys often have affairs just for the thrill involved with the sex! "Forbidden Fruit" syndrome as I call it. It doesn't make it right, just the way it is. While most women have more of an emotional involvement in sex, both in the act itself and in their partner. Over 90% of the time the "L" word is first uttered in honesty from women, as we men tend to avoid it, especially during affairs, for fear of emotional attachment on the woman's part.
All of this, of course, is spoken in generalities, but it does apply in most cases! Hope this helps in understanding what happened and good luck!

Some women get a thrill out of doing something forbidden - they get a high from the excitement of it. Some hope and convince themselves that the man will leave his family to go with her. Some are just hoping for a monetary payoff from him - gifts, free dinners, etc. In any case, these women have a void in their character, a lack of morality, respect for themselves, and often are self-delusional.

She doesn't. She is pretending. But it makes her feel good to be able to say I am just too nice of a person, I am too trusting. These type of people always have somthing to talk about like how they were treated so badly on and on, They enjoy the victim role and thats it.

It's not that they believe what they're being told. Some woman.......and men.........get a bigger thrill from the sneaking around than they do the actual relationship. It keeps the drama in their life that some people just can't seem to be happy without.

Please tell me you didn't take him back! A man will promise you the world. Woman who are attracted to married men have low self esteem. They think that a man must really want her to go threw so much just to see her. Men will always find a way to justify their actions to themselves. Men who cheat will always cheat. They are manipulative, and selfish. Good luck.

selfishness and dillusion. Most people that even think of cheating are not living in reality...they don't think about consequences...only about what they want right now.
Sad story...similar thing happened to my mom in her first marriage...except my mom caught the cheaters in the act and beat the sh*t out of the girl. (they call that closure).

because they cry and whine, and she does not have to worry about a real committment. Sometimes they just dont care. Its not love.
