Your significant other will let you have sex with someone of your choice. He/she does not want to know who it is. No threesomes. He/she will not hold it against you... ever... and you believe him/her. It is truly a free pass to have sex with another person, then go on with your life as if nothing ever happened. No strings.

You and he/she will always know what you have done. There's no such thing as "going on with your life as if nothing ever happened": even if neither of you acts like anything happened, it will still be in the back of both your minds.

No. I don't feel comfortable with that situation. The only motivation I could think of for someone doing that would be if he wanted to do the same thing, and there is no way I'm giving him a pass to do so.
The other possibility is that he is testing me, which is completely unlike him, and not to mention completely unhealthy and sick.
My fiance more or less said something to the effect of: "If you do it, I don't wanna know about it." I would never give him a reason to distrust me. I don't need other men, and if I wanted to sleep with other people, I wouldn't be in a relationship, that would be irresponsible.

No way! How do you know your significant other isn't going to change their mind about not holding it against you. What if the tables were turned? Do you think you could let your significant other have sex with some one else and then you just forget about it? I wouldn't do it!

No. I would not do it because of my own feelings. It is something I don't condone, and I will not go against my own principles regardless if he said go for it or not. I have not been married 34 years just to throw it down the tubes - and yes it would be down the tubes as it would affect ME, regardless of strings or free passes. So - I would pass.

YES! You do it to "get it out of your system" then you will be more into the one you love. Urges will be gone.

But the real question is how long is the pass good for??

It will backfire. Even if your partner says it is OK. He/she will wonder, and eventually they will want to know "Did you or did you not" and it the anguish is very strong, they will assume you did and they will hurt even more, even though you did not do it (they will never believe you). So I would not go for it.

No, you are supposed to be loyal to the one your with unless you don't love them and don't want to be with them it's immoral and wrong.
