Do you think people are more selfish than they used to be? I don't mean financially, but I mean selfish in one's daily interactions with people.

yes i agree with you some people are very selfish rude and hateful but your supposed to try to find the good in them sometimes that is a full time job

People have become more selfish. It is terrible. Many people are selfish for different reasons. One being that some popular people are selfish, people like them, therefore they become the same way. It may or may not have anything to do with peer pressure.

I think it is proportionately increasing to match the rate of the growth of our population. Because there are more people in the world, there are more selfish people in the world. But I still think it is the same percent as it has been in the past.

In this day and age of "sue happy" people, you just say one word out of place and your butt is getting sued...so sometimes it is best to keep your yap shut

...on the other hand, some people have developed the
"I am the sh*t attitude"
and swear that theirs doesn't stink.
If that made any sense...

I don't know if selfishness is growing, but it is becoming more socially acceptable. The whole individualistic I-don't-have-to-put-up-with-this-crap attitude is becoming more common.

Yes it is and so are those who are materilistic.
it may be just because ther are more people in the world and it is harder to get to know someone well. so we are wrapped upin our own little shells most of the time.
