I'm amazed that when ever you will see any indian movie you will find it out that it is copy of some Popular Hollywood movie.
E.G Matrix, Hulk , liar liar , etc etc
i was just wondering indian is rich in culture and history why dont they promote it , instead of getting influenced by western culture.

oh you are correct.. India copies a lot of movies.. they don't just take the idea, but they take the whole movie... words are the same, scenery is the same..everything....
sometimes it looks so funny..an my brothers make fun of it..

80% of Indian population is non-english speaking and they cant fully understand English movies. "we" dont copy copy "fully" but part of it JUST to give them a TASTE of western movies.. i should say its bringing two cultures little close rather "copying"...

THE BIGGEST COPYCAT OF BOLLYWOOD IS MAHESH BHAAT. EVEN MOVIE POSTERS OF HOLLYWOOD IS NOT SPARED. THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD LEGENDRY STORIES THAT COULD BE MADE INTO GOOD MOVIES. WHY ARE THEY COPYCATS? BECAUSE THE DIRECTORS ARE IDIOTS.
