The boss knows less about the work and doesn't treat each employee fairly. She likes to stress a person out so much to the point of illness. She even will go after other bosses to improve her statis as she may believe. EGO!

Been there-Tough situation!

If the meanness is affecting your work, you are probably going to have to take action. For example, you boss’s negative comments about your work may be seriously impacting your ability to work. You may find yourself second-guessing decisions that would once have been made with little thought, or you may be reluctant to take on assignments for fear of criticism. If that’s the case, it may very well be time to talk to your boss about the situation. Tell him or her how the criticism is affecting you and ask if there’s a way to improve communication so that it doesn’t have to take this continually-negative form.

If the mean attitude is being manifested in derogatory remarks about others, you may find that talking to another superior is the best answer. Don’t let yourself get caught up in either the negative comments being made by your mean boss or the reactions of others in the office. Either could be detrimental to your career.

Remember that some people are just mean and there’s nothing you can do about it. If that’s the case, you are probably faced with only a couple of options. You can look the other way and put up with the mean comments, or you can start looking for another job. Congress can pass thousands of laws to regulate how people behave and what they do, but Congress can’t regular morality and there’s a point where each person must decide what’s right and wrong for them. The same is true in the situation of dealing with a mean boss. You may be able to get the attention of someone else who’ll tell the boss to stop, but being ordered to stop being mean is a very broad command and the boss who’s set on being mean will find technicalities that allow herself to continue.

It's hard to beat the boss! My advice is to look elsewhere!

I worked for a guy who was nothing short of a tyrant. I mean a real bully. He would chastise you if front of your colleagues without hesitation one day and then speak to you the very next day as if nothing happened. I would say move on. Leave the job and be very very honest in your exit interview with HR. Something tells me your are not the first or last person who has complained about your boss. Believe me their comeuppance will come. This boss that I had had his. The company was sold by a major competitor and he lost his job. He was 49 and never worked again! Karma is on your side. Move on and leave the job. Life is too short. Give it your best, try to tell your boss in the most professional way that you do not like her behavior and find resolutions to clear the matter up. It she is totally phycho then look for another job, keep quiet and leave. Good luck to you.

The American people need to revolt against this kind of crap! We work harder and recieve fewer benefits than any other 1st world country and it's time it stopped! I worked for a place in Ennis, Texas years ago and we made starter and alternator parts. Well, a union tried to come in and the owner said if ANYONE attended that meeting he would shut down the whole factory and never open it again. Same thing happened with one of the major candy factories and they actually shut it down and it remains closed to this day. Presently I work for an egotistical overbearing boss who doesn't know how to speak to people like they are human beings and I have got news...I will wait until the most inopportune time to leave and I will post a letter to them explaining why I left the way I did. It might take longer for me to find another position but I have had ENOUGH!!!!!

Do you have a coffee/break room? Take ALL the coffee away & hide it somewhere in the building...maybe in her bottom desk drawer? Start makin' her CRAZIER, so she will crack & fire you, then you can collect unemployment insurance benefits. Better yet, go to your Company Doctor for stress & have them document the problems & get yourself some time off for stress with pay! This would be a temporary disability & you will return to work & things SHOULD be different, but you'll never know if you don't try. This is called "mental anxiety" & it is the worst type of work environment to be in.

sure, you're being overly comfortable. that's no longer some thing it relatively is well worth getting so labored up for. leases are dinged all the time and if it is dinged on an identical time because it is on your driveway insurance will hide it... if the condominium business agency even notices it. i became into with you precise until eventually the time which you admitted persevering with to nag him approximately it. of direction he tuned you out. If he's familiar with each little factor like this transforming into a nationwide subject then he will clearly start to close down. think of approximately this relatively hard and long. Why became into it this variety of huge subject? If it relatively in contact you plenty, why no longer circulate the autos your self so his became into at the back of yours rather of consistent to nag approximately it? Or, you will have moved his vehicle to the neighbor's area. you're making plenty ado approximately no longer something. be careful. Crying wolf too many circumstances can result on your being disregarded while some thing severe comes up.

Find another job. Life's too short to spend it being around mean and nasty people. You'll sleep better, you'll feel better about yourself, and you won't have spent a lot of time trying to make things better (when it may not be in your power to improve things) at the job. --Let corporate do that. They'll get a hint when their turnover is too high.

Bad behavior almost always catches up with the baaad actors. They bring it on themselves.
