Sorry no help here either, I am disabled to but not as bad as your husband. Try going to ALLSUP.com. I know what your going through I know some people that get disability and all that's wrong with them are they are depressed, or they have anxiety attacks. That's not fair for people that really need it. I have been told that if you try to get disability on your own that it is very hard. The only thing I can say is find a doctor that will OK his disability. Then go to allsup they will do all the work for you. As long as you have a doctor that says he is disabled and he has worked for at least 5 out of 10 years.
again I am sorry to here about this somethings just are not right.
Good luck, and I hope everything works out for you all.

Nothing is wrong with being angry: Just make sure it'll not make things worse! Have you tried getting help from friends, parents or relatives? You might also consider charitable institutions, but mind you, it is not to disgust yourself or go on self-pity. It's just that there are things we don't have complete control or any control at all. And it won't help blaming anyone, especially ourselves. My friend, i know you can get through this and that would also depend on you. You're partner and children loves you. Team up with work,i suggest you P.U.S.H. as in Pray until something happens. Godspeed!

Get all the gov help you can before the conservatives get rid of soc sec, welfare, and other programs designed to help people like you. Also at your local library there should be a book called info power by Matthew Lesko. In it is a huge lists of government programs including what your looking for. Since Bush took over I noticed the book is smaller but it will help.
To all the conservatives, this is why these programs aren't so bad. people who get this help aren't necessarily lazy like you claim.

Get an attorney, and file for SSI benefits, your situation is exactly what the SSI fund was designed to be there for. It will take time, but you should be able to collect. In th short term, contact the Salvation Army, and any other charitable organization near you. Also contact your state's welfare office.

I can't see people getting disability who don't need it. You don't know the other person's story. In fact, it is very difficult to get disability benefits. Even in Canada, people can get denied several times until they get legal representation and only years later, finally be granted. You should apply for SSDI/SSI whichever he qualifies for.

First of all, calm down and convince yourself that you're going to be fine. Find a friend or family member to help you.

the medical situation is pretty much screwed up in this country... if you get sick... bad... you're screwed...
I mean church or family... like the Republicans always push... but with them in office... it's tough...
