i am trying to think of a phrase we would use in the restaurant business to describe doing more than 2 things at once. Basically this phrase is restaurant jargon, like anticipating guests needs, but this phrase describes multitasking.

Particulary a phrase that describes doing more than 2 things at once. this is restaurant jargon to explain to a server for example, to grab the check for one table at the same time you grab a drink refill for another table.

Multitasking is a computer shop phrase. I thought it was "wearing different hats" in the restaurant world.
