Kind of tough to live "on" the mountain, but there are any number of communities at the foot of Fuji.

Only several ppl who manage mountain lodges.

In winter, no body won't be able to live there because of deep snow.
But you can live at the foot of the moutain.

No, but you can live in one of the towns right near it - so that you'll become an 'exhibit' if it ever erupts again!!

I wouldn't want to live on an active volcano - even if it IS classified as low risk!

No but during the summer time you might climb to the summit.
