Hinduism has no main founder, and no main holy city. It also has no single holy book. So it is different from Christianity in those ways , among others. What really matters is what you find comfortable. Hinduism is the 3rd largest religion in the world, after Christianity and Islam. So that means that around 14% or so of the people in the world identify themselves as Hindus. If you are serious, try going to Christian and Hindu services. Read up on the traditions and see if you find anything in either of them which makes you happy.
The point of any religion is to bring daily joy to its followers. If you ain't got that- it's the wrong one for you. Good Luck!

Hinduism = 660,000,000 gods

Christians = 1 God

Hindu's believe that EVERY aspect of nature has a god, Christians believe in a SINGLE god (NOT A TRINITY). Jesus did not EVER think himself equal to God, IN FACT he said the EXACT OPPOSITE, that he was in "no way equal to God." Look it up. Learn something. The Trinity is a Pagan Doctrin, like Rabbits & Eggs for Easter (Astarte the pagan goddess), Christmas (from Tammuz (where we got the cross) who was the Sun God sacrificed on December 25th), and All Souls day which was celebrated by Pagans before Christians, also Nuns are in Buddhism and so are Rosary Beads. Not to mention Santa, Christmas trees, Yule logs, etc., these too were all Pagan symbols, read "The Two Babylons" by the Reverend Alexander Hislop.

So while Hinduism is based on Nature and Idol worship, and Christianity says its not. Much of it still is, only ONE of its "religions" abhors all kinds of these false pagan worships that God himself condemns. Figure it out for yourself which one it is, you should know by now.

Despite what many well intended (But truly, definably, ignorant)people might believe; the dogma/doctrine/teachings/ ideology /scripture/fundamental oral traditions/etc. etc. Of Both would say Neither.

Pragmatically, each seeks (in it's own ways) to come to a better comprehension of the transcendental Be-ing/Truth/Life/I Am... another term for which is God. You stumbled upon something in your question... "which 1 is better". The One (1) you imply is the purpose of all religious/theological en devours.

Worth pointing out; your question encourages hostility. If not towards yourself, than between other peoples. If that was your intent, study why you were so intended. If it was not, consider your next question more carefully.

You need to clearly specify the dimensions upon which to evaluate. For example, if you value peace you need to include a statement asking, which religion advocates most strongly to avoid war and which religion has supported the fewest wars?
If you believe in consistency and clarity of description you might ask which religion has the fewest sub-denominations and fewest divergent interpretations?
If you value a scientific, empirical epistemology, you might ask which religion has the text most consistent or congruent with scientific discoveries?
If you are serious about this, frame the question seriously.

God gave His covenant to Abraham. The Torah and its translation the Old Testament, as it is called stipulates that Abraham's covenant seed is Isaac. Any religion that violates tenets of the Torah be careful of: establishing graven images, building altars to beings unknown? Do you know that evil spirits are attracted to potions and statues?

Both are good, as long as the system of belief helps instead of hinders then I see nothing wrong with it. Live and let live as is said.

Hindus and Christians are stupid.

That's why I invented my own NEW and IMPROVED religion, I call it:

BEER..........

I pray to my refrigerator, and for my devotion it gives me a nice cold beer

Praise The Lord
