No, I would like it to be adjustable with the flux in gas, just to make it fair to the employers. But I do like your way of thinking though. I get some miserly amount of a cost of living increase that is a very small percentage and still rates the cost of living as 10 to 15 years ago. The fact that minimum wage is what? $6.75 or so should tell you something, like anyone can survive on that amount of money an hour!!! Yeah, we need some kind of compensation but that is yet another pipe dream like winning the lottery. Good idea and good question!!!

The price of gas is artificially inflated. theire is no reason, for it to be so high, i just wish if there would be someone out ther to actually start from scratch and where is the proof of purchase of the Oil Barrel.. No one actually pays the full price, that is just there to screw with the minds of the end buyers, (that is us standing in at the gas pump buying expensive fuel)
But since no one is doing anything about it or to find out more. Yes your are right the prices are going to go up. and the consumers are the one paying the price for it.

Alot of companie are helping out with their employees and fuel prices giving away fuel cards etc. Some jobs have annual automatic pay increases so that will cover that in time. And some companies are rewarding employees who take other modes of transportaion to work besides an auto.

I can only dream!
Actually what we need to do is to boycott stations that charge more - it irritates the crap out of me to see people pay 3-5 cents more per gallon than they would if the drove to the other side of the street. Since we will pay more gas stations will charge it, 'cause we're idiots.
We also need to reduce our dependence on oil products. Hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles, solar power in our houses - anything we can do to reduce our use of oil will benefit the planet - and our wallets!

That's rediculous "So says the oil companies". Then everybody would get rich not just the Oil Companies. They want all the money for them selves. They just don't relalize that someday it will bite them in the ***.
