how does the use of plastic affect our lives?

The plastic companies have over ruled the glass companies. Plastic is lighter than glass. If your drop a catsup bottle that is made out of glass instead of plastic gosh it was a mess to clean up. Plastic is everywhere carpets,credit cards, drivers license, walls, in the automobiles,computers. I could go on and on about plastics. Plastic does`nt break down in our environment but other then that it is good.

I think plastics make our lives what they are. There's plastic all around you: In the carpet, on the walls, it holds our food, it's in our cars.
For the most part, plastic has made a huge difference in our lives - for the better. Other than the fact that plastics have a decomposition rate of a slug, I think plastics have made our world a lot safer.

It sucks for candy bar wrappers. I break the candy by the time get the plastic off. Same goes for Popsicles, CD covers, DVD labels, etc...

That clear hard plastic on gadgets and packaged toys. I end up getting cut on the plastic or using shears to cut the plastic.

Other than that plastic is good.

plastic is a man-made material which is waterproof and useful to our everyday life. we can use it to play too you know and they are being abused in other ways.
