Nintendo has a special gaming school in Redmond, WA (I used to work right by there). It's called PenTech (or something like that). Many colleges and universities also now provide video game design as a major.

Generally, you would want to decide: are you an artist or programmer? There are also Producers, sound engineers, etc. There are schools that specialize in this such as Digipen ( http://www.digipen.edu ) that specialize in the games industry.
There are also Tech Support jobs, Systems Admins, etc. It all depends on what your strengths are. Mind you, that industry pays more poorly than most.

First off, you should find out if this is something that you'd like to do for a career...before you commit to a huge education loan.
My advice for you is: Search for a Temp Agency that deals with companies in the videogaming business. Try to get a job as a Temp in whatever you get...as long as it's in video gaming. Then see if you like it.
Here's a start for you: Volt located in Redmond, Washington. and to top it off: (425) 702-9000 <---- their phone number. I don't wish you luck, I wish for you to go out there and find yourself, and what it is that you wish to do in this life.
