I do like John Paul Jones, but the other two are not my taste. I can't pick only one player, but some of my favorite Rock bass players would be Chris Squire, John Wetton and John Entwistle, just to name a few.

to all the morons that are listing john paul jones,what songs can you actually hear any bass in besides dazed and confused? jimmy paige and robert plans stole the show,you cant hear any bass in any songs,although i love zeppelin,you cant hear any bass. my picks would be flea and tim c from rage
